CS 534: Artificial Intelligence (Graduate)
C-D22 (Junior Year, Second Semester)

Course Description

“This course gives a broad survey of artificial intelligence. The course will cover methods from search, probabilistic reasoning, and learning, among other topics. Selected topics involving the applications of these tools are investigated. Such topics might include natural language understanding, scene understanding, game playing, and planning. (Prerequisites: familiarity with data structures and a high-level programming language.)”

My Experience

CS 534 involved studying various artificial intelligence and machine learning topics and completing projects on them. The class focused on search and optimization algorithms, supervised learning, reinforced learning, various machine learning algorithms, and deep learning. The projects were completed in groups, with the final project being a choice– my group and I created a deep learning model for detecting how well someone is wearing a mask.
