My second full time summer internship was similarly low-level programming, at Arista Networks. I focused on their platforms team, coding and configuring their switches. I worked on a major project, where I added a production feature for some of their switches. I also wrote tests to verify and aid in debugging future issues. I learned about their tools and environment, including version control, CI/CD, and good practices. I also learned about networking protocols and configurations.
